Maharashtra's star batter Ruturaj Gaikwad scored a sensational 112 off 65 against Services and clinched a big record against his name.
Ruturaj Gaikwad has now become the first batsman from Maharashtra to play the biggest innings in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy.
Gaikwad achieved this milestone during his innings of 112 off 65 balls against Services in which he cracked 12 fours and 5 sixes.
Prior to Gaikwad, Vijay Zol had scored 109 runs in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy while playing for Maharashtra in 2013.
Maharashtra's Yash Nahar's name is also included in this list. He played an unbeaten knock of 103 in this tournament in 2021.
