Fullish delivery, nipping away slightly after pitching. Pope drags the bat in front of the pads and opens the bat face at the point of contact. Steers it to the right of gully where Cameron Green moves in that direction and fumbles. The ball gets parried and they get a single.

FOUR! Audacious! Brendan lands it on a good length, and follows the batter's body. Harry Brook backs away, gives himself a massive room and scythes it through backward point for a boundary.

Boland uses the wider angle and swings in from the fourth stump, on a hard length. Pope trusts the bounce and shoulders arms as the ball breezes above the off pole on its way to Carey.

Straightens up a bit, on a good length, around off. Pope is happy to see that off.

On a back of a length, on top of off. Ollie Pope stretches forward and blocks it solidly.

Back of a length, cutting away from middle. Ollie Pope, with his head nice and still, drives it on the rise and down the ground, to the left of mid off. Travis Head chases it from the inner ring as the ball loses its steam in the outfield. Three taken.

Hits the deck really hard, does Boland, angling it into the bodyline. Harry Brook takes his bottom hand off the handle, and fends it off the back foot to the leg side.

PEACH! This one cuts Pope in half as Doggett hits the hard length and gets it to cut back in sharply. Ollie Pope is tucked up for space and shapes to cut it square from the original line, but the ball beats the inside edge and fizzes through to the keeper.

FOUR! Excellent stroke and Pope moves into his 30s! Too full from Brendan Doggett on this occasion, on middle and leg. Ollie Pope holds his bat tight and close to his body and flicks it through the mid-wicket and mid on gap for a boundary.

A bit too straight on this occasion, as this is drifting down leg, on a length. Pope misses glancing it off his hips. Carey collects at chest height behind the stumps, to his left.

Pope continues to attack. He cuts this length-delivery from outside off through backward point. The call is for three straightaway. They run the first couple of runs really hard as Cameron Green sprints after the ball from gully. He slides to flick the ball in the playing area and saves a run for his side as the batters cross each other thrice.

Slants it onto the pads, does Boland. This is flicked off the pads by Brook, but straight to the fielder at mid-wicket.

What was that from Brook? He looks to deposit that towards the Barmy Army in the stands, but misses. On a good length, cutting back into the batter a long way. Harry Brook, with no foot movement at all, tries to heave it over cow corner, but connects with only a handful of air as the ball beats the inside edge.

Nips in a touch, on off, on a length. Brook fends it to the off side off the back foot.

FOUR! Solid from Brook this time around! The field was set for a short ball, but Harry doesn't bother as Boland tricks him with a half volley, on off. He creates a stable base for himself before prodding forward and crisply driving down the ground towards long off for a boundary. 

Boland follows Brook as he backs away and shapes to ramp. But the ball is banged halfway into the pitch and Brook can only jab it to the off side. Nice adjustment from him though.

Onto the pads, on a good length, this is steered by Pope, behind square on the leg side for a single.

Angled on middle and leg, on a good length. Just a gentle tap across the line from Brook, in front of mid on for a single.

An odd one that is drifted down leg, on a length. Pope gets inside the line to tickle it to the leg side but misses.
