A big appeal for caught behind, but it is turned down. Flatter googly, turning past the off stump and staying low. Nasum Ahmed sits down to sweep but misses and the ball goes past the bottom edge. Excellent take from the keeper. The shout might have actually been for LBW as the ball flicked the backside of the pad.

Floated up on the stumps, and this is swept away behind square leg for a single.

OUT! CHOPPED ON! The googly finally proves to be too good for Aliss Al Islam, and Sri Lanka are just one wicket away from sealing the Bronze Medal. Dushan Hemantha drags the length back, bowling it just outside off. Islam rocks back and tries to punch it through the off side but the ball turns back in and takes the inside edge, before eventually rolling back onto the stumps. The bails fall off and Islam has to walk back.

How's that missed the stumps? Wanuja Sahan flights it up, getting the ball to drift in towards middle and dip on the batter as well. Nasum Ahmed goes for the big heave on the leg side but misses. The ball turns and somehow goes over the stumps as well.

OUT! CAUGHT AND BOWLED! A sharp take from Wanuja Sahan to his own delivery and Bangladesh lose another wicket. Full-length delivery outside off stump, enticing Rishad Hossain into a front-foot drive. He connects well, driving it powerfully straight back down the pitch, but fails to keep the stroke grounded. Wanuja moves to his left swiftly and takes the catch. 

FOUR! Up and over! Much fuller, on off. Parvez Hossain Emon drills it uppishly, over the reach of the bowler and gets a boundary. 

OUT! TAKEN! The wrong'un does the trick for Vijayakanth Viyaskanth, and Sri Lanka lose half of their team now. A deft variation from the bowler, pitching a good length googly out wide of off stump. Emon waits on the back foot, attempting a delicate late cut, but the subtle turn catches a faint feather off the blade. Sohan de Livera is momentarily blinded by the trajectory, fumbling the initial collection behind the stumps, but reacts swiftly to snatch the bobbling ball on the second attempt.

OUT! LBW! Two in two for Viyaskanth and now he is on a Hat-Trick. Another beautifully disguised googly, pitching it fractionally outside off stump and turning in sharply toward the stumps. Mahedi Hasan fails to pick the wrist variation, pressing forward with a defensive stroke only to be beaten on the inside edge. The ball hits him high on the front pad. Viyaskanth appeals out loud. The umpire takes all the time and raises his finger to it with a nod.

Streaky from the batter, and that's well fielded by Lasith Croospulle in the end. Floated up outside off, Emon goes across to sweep but gets an outside edge down to deep third. The fielder from inside the ring chases it down and keeps it down to two runs.

Tossed up around off, Emon leans on and blocks it to the right of point. The batters look for a run but decide against it, and rightly so, as the fielder pounces on it very quickly.

Excellent fielding again. Full and outside off, smacks away to the left of short extra cover, where Sahan Arachchige dives across and gets a big hand on it, deflecting it down to long off for just a single. Bangladesh are 30/4 after the Powerplay, needing 136 more off 84 balls.

FOUR! Nicely played. Flatter one, a bit too straight. Towhid Hridoy gets inside the line and shovels it down to long leg for a boundary.

OUT! CAUGHT! That's the wicket Sri Lanka wanted. Tharindu Ratnayake floats it up at the stumps and this one slides back in with the arm. Towhid Hridoy skips down the pitch to go big, but miscues it badly to mid on, where Nuwanidu Fernando takes a simple catch. Bangladesh are now 18/4.

FOUR! Edged away. Nicely flighted, just outside off. Yasir Ali has a poke at it but gets an outside edge that goes between the keeper and the first slip fielder, rolling away into the deep third fence.

OUT! TIMBER! That's a jaffa from Nuwan Thushara. Thushara goes full and straight, landing it in the blockhole and there's a hint of swing as well. Litton Das ends up playing all around a straight ball and misses. The ball goes on to make a mess of the stumps behind and Bangladesh are 4/3.

FOUR! Half an appeal for LBW, but it's been given as runs off the bat. Full and straight, shaping away. Towhid Hridoy skews it off the outside edge and down to deep third for a boundary.

Good length in the channel, Hridoy dances down the track to go over the off side but misses.

Pitched up, a bit wide of the off stump. Saif Hassan laces a square drive but it is well stopped by the fielder at point. Four dots in a row.

Make that five dots in a row. Length ball in the channel. Saif times the punch sweetly but finds the fielder at extra cover.

OUT! EDGED AND GONE! What a start for Nuwan Thushara and Sri Lanka - a wicket maiden. Thushara bangs it into the surface, over middle. Saif Hassan comes down the pitch, trying to force it over the off side but edges it through to the keeper. Sohan de Livera makes no mistake and Bangladesh lose an early wicket.
