Steven Smith runs behind from slip and takes a comfortable catch. The Aussies celebrate but Stone is as still as his name. The umpire smiles and eventually raises his finger. Maybe, he felt that the wicket was too obvious. AUSTRALIA WIN BY 68 RUNS AND TAKE A 2-0 LEAD IN THE 5-MATCH SERIES!

OUT! LBW! Well, Rashid has reviewed this but if there is no bat, there is not much hope. It was a length ball, around off, Adil Rashid tried to paddle it around the corner. Rashid seemed to realize the mistake in the choice of his shot, because the risk in that stroke if you miss, you are gone. Jamie Smith who was batting so well has to go back one short of his fifty here. This one is on a good length and around middle, angling in, Jamie Smith takes a couple of steps to flick it away, but gets a bit cramped for room and ends up hitting it aerially towards short mid-wicket, Jake Fraser-McGurk (Sub) moves quickly to his left and takes a fine catch tumbling in the end as well. OUT! CAUGHT! Out of nowhere, Australia get a wicket. And not for the first time in a decade, Glenn Maxwell gives them a breakthrough. He bowls a short ball, outside off and Bethell's eyes light up, aiming to hammer this. He eyes the region around cover but there is extra bounce on this one and hence, a top edge is skewed. The ball has not gone far but Mitchell Starc at short third does not sight it at first. He is then guided by his keeper and starts off late and eventually, having to dive forward to break the 55-run stand. Bethell looks distraught but more than a poor shot, one feels that the bounce was his undoing. He departs for a bright 25 (35), England are 120/6 and need another 151 from 173 balls.

FOUR! Well, a critic might call it lazy from Starc but you can excuse fast bowlers for not giving their 100 percent on the field. A length ball, around off, Smith goes for the pull and gets it high off the bat. The shot takes more height than distance but because the field is up, it clears Mitchell Starc at mid on. Starc simply trots after it but after the ball lands, he suddenly feels he can stop it. Starts to put in the hard yards, then a weak slide, tries to pull the ball back and hits the ropes. The umpire checks the effort multiple times whether Starc has touched the ball and rope at the same time but in the final replay, it is seen that Starc actually pulled the ball back after it hit the ropes.

A length ball, down the leg side, Jamie Smith looks to tuck but misses. The ball goes behind square on the leg side and with the fielders pretty deep, Smith calls for the second and gets it.

FOUR! That's a cracking shot. This lad can bat, as was witnessed in that second T20I. Not a bad ball at all, on a length from Hazlewood, on middle, Jacob Bethell arches back and punches it to the right of point for a stunning boundary.

FOUR! Fine shot again. England persist with the counter-attack. Hazlewood bowls short and Jacob Bethell is quick to pounce on it. Pulls it to the right of Glenn Maxwell at deep square leg. Maxwell puts in a bizarre chase. He first starts to run, then gives it up. Suddenly, he realizes that the ball is actually not coming that quickly and puts in a new sprint. In the end, that late decision costs him as he has to dive and misses the ball. England now need 196 from 235 balls.

A short ball, outside off, Ben Duckett goes for the pull but the ball does not come onto the bat as quickly as he would have liked. Mistimes the pull to wide mid on. In fact it looks like Australia believe that Duckett cannot hit down the ground. Hence, there is no conventional mid on or mid off. Both are pretty wide, almost at mid-wicket and cover respectively.

OUT! CAUGHT AND BOWLED! That's an absolute screamer. A length ball, around off, Duckett looks to swing this out of the park. But the ball holds onto the pitch for a while and arrives late. Duckett is already through his shot and his bottom hand comes off the handle. The ball hits the toe end of the bat and flies wide of the bowler but Aaron Hardie, moving in that direction in his followthrough, sticks out his left hand and takes an absolute blinder. Duckett waits for a check from the umpire whether Hardie collected it cleanly and on getting the affirmative, turns back. Big wicket for Australia as the in-form Duckett departs for 32 (25). England are 65/4 and need another 206 from 242 balls.

OUT! CAUGHT DOWN THE LEG SIDE! Two in two for Hardie. Well, we saw this in the first innings as well, not-so-good deliveries getting wickets. Hardie gives a welcome gift to Liam Livingstone, a half volley on the pads. Livingstone looks to flick and does so, but can only get it fine! The keeper, Alex Carey, dives to his left and pouches another screamer, with his left glove! Livingstone does not want to go, so he waits. The umpire raises his finger and now he has to go for a golden duck!

WIDE. Harsh decision on the bowler but nothing that Australia can do about it. On a length, down the leg side, Jamie Smith looks to flick but misses. There is a noise as the ball goes past and Starc appeals for the catch but not with confidence. Replay shows that the ball clipped the pad. Now, if this had been the Indian T20 League, Australia could have reviewed against the wide call.
