FOUR! Archer gets it away. England are now one big hit away. Bowled into the deck, on middle. Archer hangs back and swipes it away on the leg side. Hits it to the left of the man at deep square leg and picks up a boundary.

Good running. Singh nails the yorker, on middle. Archer gets his bat down and digs it out through square leg. The batters take the first run hard and come charging back for the second. Jofra gets home before Vaibhav Sooryavanshi's throw reaches the keeper.

Another yorker, on the off stump. Jofra jams it out behind point for a single. 3 more needed for England.

Banged into the deck, angled into the left-hander. Bethell swivels and pulls it down to deep fine leg for a single.

That will do nicely for the home side. England ace the chase to go 1-0 up in the series. Arshdeep gets the yorker in from around the wicket, on middle. Archer squeezes it square on the leg side by using his wrists. By the time Vaibhav Sooryavanshi can get around and make an attempt to release the throw, Jofra makes it back for the second run.

Starts with an off-pace ball, on a good length, on off. Curran angles it behind point for a single.

SIX! Simply superb from the young man. Rana hurls it on a length, around the off stump from around the wicket. Bethell hangs low to get under the ball and uses the pace to play the reverse scoop over deep third for a six.

On a back of a length, on off. Bethell steers it down to deep third for one.

OUT! CAUGHT! Sam Curran holes out. Full and speared in at the pads. Curran picks it up nicely off the pads and has no intention of keeping it on the ground. The shot was on, but Sam failed to get it wide enough of the fielder in the deep. Vaibhav Sooryavanshi runs to his right from deep backward square leg and leaps to take a good catch at head height.

Into the surface, on off. Archer arches back to play the upper cut but misses.

Wide! Dug in short, over the right shoulder. Archer bails out of the pull shot. Wide given for height. Rana is not happy with the wide call and feels hard done by. Jofra was crouching slightly, but the ball still went comfortably over his head.

Takes pace off and keeps it near the tramline on off, on a short of a length. Archer swings for the hills but gets an inside edge that sneaks past the stumps. It rolls behind on the leg side and the batters cross.

No Ball! For the second time in the game, Ravi Bishnoi has cut the return crease with his back leg. Dishes out the googly, outside off. Not short enough for the cut. Curran chops it wide of point for a single. Free Hit coming up.

SIX! Jacob Bethell makes Ravi Bishnoi pay once again. With this hit, Bethell brings up his 4th T20I fifty. Floated up, it is the googly, on middle. Jacob clears the front leg and tonks it back over the bowler's head for half a dozen. 15 runs off the over with only 2 legal balls bowled so far in the over. England have a golden opportunity here to convert this into a massive over.

On the pads, on a length. Bethell shovels it behind square leg for a couple of runs.

FOUR! In the gap! A bit too short, on middle. Bethell backs away and slaps it uppishly but to the left of the extra cover fielder for a boundary.

SIX! 27 runs off the over with a ball to go. Jacob Bethell has all but sealed the fate of the game. Flighted delivery, too full this time, on middle. Bethell drops to a knee and clubs it way over deep mid-wicket. 

A couple of runs saved by Arshdeep Singh but he seems to have jarred his shoulder in the process. Drops it short, does Bishnoi, on middle. Jacob gets on top of the bounce and pulls it wide of deep square leg. Arshdeep Singh sprints to his right in the deep and as he dives, he gets into a bit of a tangle as he lands awkwardly on his right shoulder. Arshdeep grimaces in pain beyond the sidelines but later gets back up on his feet. 29 runs off the over. A remarkable turnaround in an over.

Pushed through, on a nagging length, across off. Bethell hangs deep and swings at it. He does not quite get hold of it and it goes down to long on for one.

OUT! LBW! That's got to be close, and the finger has been raised. Will Jacks has reviewed it immediately. Was there any bat? From around the wicket, very full, on middle. Jacks goes for the reverse and reaches out in front. The ball dips under the blade to hit him flush on the right boot. No bat involved on UltraEdge, and it is three reds on Ball Tracking with the ball crashing into the middle stump. Jacks takes a review with him. England are now 5 down for 133.

FOUR! Edged away! A bit of air given, short and wide on off. Curran flashes and flashes hard. Gets an outside edge and it races fine of the short third fielder for a boundary.

Closer to the off stump now and fuller as well. Sam punches it to deep cover for one.

FOUR! Smashed! From over the wicket for Bethell, full and quick, across off. Bethell puts his head down and swings through the line. Drills it back past the bowler, and Axar Patel at long on stands no chance.

Slows it down a touch and it is shorter as well, on off. Bethell forces it off the back foot but straight to cover. 10 runs and a wicket from Chakaravarthy's last over. England need 49 off 24.

 FOUR! Expertly played! Short and slow by Axar, outside off. Will Jacks has all the time in the world to rock back and punch it to the cover region. He beats Shreyas Iyer to his left and picks up a crucial boundary.

Slides it in on a length, Will Jacks watchfully bunts it back to the bowler.

A lot fuller on off, Will Jacks presses forward and clips it through wide mid-wicket for a single.

Pitched outside leg, on a length. Bethell creates room by backing away and swats it down the ground for a single.

Spotting Jacks skip down the track, Axar fires one outside off on a fuller length. Will adjusts well to it and taps it in front of cover-point for a quick single.

Not that full, not too short either. Aimed at the pads. Bethell charges down and works it to the vacant backward square leg for a single. Excellent recovery from Axar after being hit for a boundary on the first ball of the over. Just 8 runs from it. He is done with his spell, with figures reading 1/20 in 4 overs.

Short and sliding across from over the wicket. Bethell reaches out and goes hard on the cut but ends up chopping it down off an inside edge on the pitch.

Too short and curving away, Jacob arches back a bit and carves it to deep point for a single.

The googly, touch full on off. Will Jacks hangs back and across and nudges it gently to mid-wicket.

Spins in on middle, full in length. Will Jacks gets across and tucks it behind square on the leg side for a couple of runs.

Outside off and short, Will Jacks punches off the back foot to deep cover for a single.

Flat and full, outside off. Bethell lunges forward and creams the cover drive to the left of the fielder at cover and calls for two straightaway. The long off fielder has a lot of ground to cover to his right and they hustle back for the second. England need 67 runs off 36 balls now.

Slower bumper, into the surface, angled across the batter. Banton just about prevents his temptation to play the pull shot.

 BEATEN! At 131 kph, this is pushed across the batter, on a fractionally fuller length. Tom Banton does not move his feet at all and tries to hit it over the bowler, but the ball keeps leaving him and beats the outside edge.

Wide full toss, outside off. Tom carves it away to deep backward point. Ravi Bishnoi almost makes a mess in trying to pick it up, but redeems himself quickly. Just a single.

WIDE! Arshdeep follows the batter and bowls it way down leg, on a fuller length. Jacob shuffles outside leg to flick it but misses. Ishan dives to grab the ball to his right. Wide called.

Hits the length hard, on the leg stump line, Jacob Bethell comes forward and backs away, but he is cramped up for space and drops it down the pitch. 

Angled onto the pads, on a length. Jacob misses to glance it away and the ball clips the thigh pad before trickling behind to the right of the keeper. They get a leg bye as Kishan moves across to pick the ball up. Excellent over so far from Arshdeep.

 OUT! CAUGHT IN THE DEEP! Arshdeep breaks the threatening 67-run partnership and picks up his third wicket. Full and outside off. Banton gets under it, looking to go big inside out over the covers, but the timing lets him down, and he ends up chipping it off the toe end of the bat. Hits it flat and straight into Tilak Varma's hands, who takes it comfortably well inside the ropes at deep cover. England are 118/4, still needing 73 runs from 42 balls.

WIDE! Short and slides down leg, Tom Banton tries to whip it to the leg side, but misses. Ishan collects the ball sharply to his left and threatens to dislodge the bails, but Banton keeps his foot grounded all the time.

 FOUR! Excellent batting! Full and following the batter on the leg stump. Banton swings fluently and finds the gap at deep mid-wicket for a boundary.

 FOUR! Into the gap again! Short and outside off, a quicker one from Bishnoi. Tom is quick to transfer the weight on the back foot and nails the cut shot to the right of deep point for a boundary.

Full and flat, on middle, Banton stays leg side and drives it straight to mid off.

Drags the length back, sliding on the pads. Banton tucks it to deep mid-wicket for one run.

Drops it short on the stumps. Jacob pivots on the back foot and pulls it hard to deep mid-wicket for one more.

Floated up there, full and around off. Banton drills it inside out to long off for an easy single. 12 runs from the over. 24 from the last 2 for England.

Full and outside leg, Jacob Bethell misses the flick and the ball rolls off the front pad towards the vacant square leg region. They cross twice.

 FOUR! Quality shot from Banton! Off cutter, full on the stumps. Banton waits for the ball to arrive and lets it dip. He picks it up and whips it over mid-wicket for a boundary.

SIX! Into the stands! Tossed up by Varun Chakaravarthy, full and wide on off. Bethell gets the width to free his arms and he gets down on a knee before thumping it over long on.

This is pushed through now, shorter and on off. Bethell dabs it in front of backward point and takes a quick single.

FOUR! Streaky! Slower than the previous ball, fuller as well, on middle. Banton makes room to open up the off side. He swings at it, but there is a bit of lift off the deck, and an outside edge is found. It races past short third for a boundary.

Back to firing it in, full and around off at 105 kph. Banton attempts the reverse but is beaten for pace and gets hit on the pads.

Following the batter, full in length, that is flicked away through mid-wicket for a single.

Shreyas Iyer is quick to release the throw towards the batting end. Ishan Kishan whips the bails off but Banton is in by then. Iyer seems to have pulled up something in his right leg and is down on the ground, grimacing in pain but soon gets back up on his feet.

Right on the money! Attacking the front pad, on a good length. Banton presses forward and drops it beside the strip on the leg side. He is keen for a quick single but Ishan Kishan gets to the ball quickly.

FOUR! Innovative and effective. Stays full, around the off stump. Banton brings out the reverse and connects well. Gets it away to the right of the short third fielder for a boundary.

Drags the length back now, on off and middle. Another reverse attempted by Tom and it goes over point. Arshdeep Singh gets around to his right in the deep and cuts it off. Two runs taken.

Had to hurry! Sliding on with the angle, on a length, on middle and leg. Banton tucks it with soft hands in front of deep mid-wicket and the batters decide to come back for the second. Tilak Varma swoops in off the ropes and fires it on the bounce at the bowling end. Bethell gets home with the dive before the throw arrives.

FOUR! Threads it through. A bit of air given by Bishnoi, fuller and on off. Banton presses forward and plays a punchy drive. He opens the bat face slightly to pick the gap between point and cover-point.

Even quicker this time at 103 kph, short and on middle and leg. Banton makes use of the angle and works it wide of deep mid-wicket for a couple of runs. After 6 overs, England are 61/3, needing 130 runs in 84 balls.

Pushed through, full on the leg stump, from around the stump. Harry Brook shimmies down the track and hammers it on the bounce to long on for a single. 50 up for England in just 4.1 overs.

A touch fuller, on the leg stump. Jacob backs away and dabs it to the fielder at point.

Fires in a full toss, on the stumps, Bethell advances and drills it away to long on for a single. The 50-run partnership comes up between Brook and Bethell, with the captain being the heavy-lifter.

OUT! CAUGHT BEHIND! Axar ends Brook's fun and this is his 100th T20I wicket. That could be the killer blow. Slides down the leg stump line, on a fractionally fuller length. Harry Brook sits across to play the sweep shot, and the ball seems to have grazed his glove before nestling into the keeper's glove. Brilliant reaction from Kishan behind the stumps as he alertly moves to his left to gather the ball. A massive appeal for caught behind from Ishan but not given. In fact, the umpire opens his arms to signal a wide. This looks touch-and-go, really. Even before the technology loads up, the Indians begin to celebrate after watching the front-on replay. UltraEdge shows a clear spike when the ball is next to the glove. The on-field decision is overturned and this is a massive moment in the game. England are 51/3, chasing 191 runs.

Drifts one into the batter, full in length. Banton leans forward and clips it to the square leg region for a single to get off the mark.

Dropped a bit short, on the leg stump. Jacob Bethell plays off the back foot and tucks it wide of square leg for an easy single. Superb over from Patel. Just 4 runs and a big wicket of Brook from it. England need 138 runs from 90 balls.

 FOUR! Put away! Flat and on a length, landing outside leg before spinning back in. Bethell reads the googly, rocks onto the back foot and hammers it away to the boundary behind square leg.

This is across the left-hander, on a good length. Bethell stabs it down on the leg side for a single.

Shorter and quicker, on off. Brook taps it wide of cover from the crease and rotates the strike.

 FOUR! Just beats the fielder! Quicker and flatter, on leg. Jacob Bethell gets on the front foot and smashes it to the left of the long on fielder. Tilak Varma covers a lot of ground but cannot make the stop.

Keeps the attack on the stumps, on a lower trajectory. Bethell rocks back and bunts it back to the bowler.

Back of a length, shaping away gently, outside off. Jacob strides across and steers it to the right of the diving backward point fielder. Easy single.

 FOUR! Quick hands! Hard length, angling outside off. Brook backs away and hammers it a bit uppishly to the left of Ravi Bishnoi at backward point for a cracking boundary.

 FOUR! Dismissed out of his presence! Length-delivery, outside off. Harry Brook goes back in the crease and disdainfully slaps it down the ground, to the right of mid off for a boundary. That was smacked so powerfully.

SIX! Hit with ease and at will! Slightly back of a length, on off. Harry Brook weighs on the back foot and pulls it magnificently behind deep square leg. Clears the fence easily to pick up a six.

SIX! BROOK ON FIRE! A long half-volley from Singh, on off, swings in. Harry Brook balances himself nicely, gets the front leg out of the way and absolutely launches it down the ground for a massive six. He moves to 31 (11), in the score of 32.

 SIX! Top effort by Patel, but it goes in vain. A low full toss, slanted in at the stumps from around the wicket. Brook picks it up and sends it toward deep backward square leg, where Axar runs to his left and takes the catch, but he couldn't stop his momentum from carrying him over the rope. He tries to flick the ball back in the playing area, but it lands right on the boundary cushion. 27 runs off the over, and Brook is in a punishing mood.

Starts off by lasering a pinpoint yorker that tails in a touch. Harry Brook is quick enough to drop the bat down and shovels it out.

 FOUR! That's the first boundary of the chase! Very full in search of swing, but it goes straight on the pads. Harry Brook comfortably flicks it into the square leg gap and finds the fence.

 FOUR! Audacious! Short of a length on top of off. Harry Brook steps out of the crease, backs away to give himself some room and carves it over backward point. One bounce and into the fence.

Good work by Dube! Short and on the stumps. Brook rides the bounce and pulls it along the ground to deep backward square leg. Shivam Dube runs across and puts his body behind the ball with a dive to his left and manages to cut it off. Saves two for his team.

Spears in a fuller one on off, Brook watchfully blocks it back to Rana.

Oh, that could have easily gone back onto the sticks! Bashes the length hard, does Rana, outside off. Harry Brook rises up and tries to play the pull shot but gets a bit cramped up and inside edges it. The ball sneaks past the off stump and rolls back to Kishan.

 OUT! EDGED AND CAUGHT! Picture-perfect start for India and Arshdeep. He bangs it short and angles it across the right-hander, generating an extra bit of bounce off the surface. Phil Salt stands tall and plays a half-hearted shot, trying to play the square cut on the off side. Gets a faint outside edge and Ishan Kishan does the rest behind the stumps. Up goes the finger on a confident appeal. Salt looks at the heavens with a wry smile as he goes for a golden duck. England are 0/1, chasing 191.

Brook and England are off the mark! Inswinger, full on off. Brook presses forward and eases it in front of mid off for a single.

Swing and a miss! At 132 kph, pushed outside off, on a good length. Jos Buttler feels for it, and goes for a back foot punch to the off side but he stays put and is not to the pitch of the ball. Gets beaten past the outside edge by a kitten-whisker.

Swing and bounce! Arshdeep generates a steep bounce off the surface, short and outside off. Buttler stands up on the toes, looking to punch it away, but the ball zips past the outside edge and swings in late as it sails back to the keeper.

OUT! TAKEN! Double whammy from Arshdeep and India are on top. Singh swings it in on a fuller length, on middle and leg. Jos Buttler plays from the crease, and he actually nails the flick shot off the middle of the bat, but he cannot keep it along the ground and hits it uppishly towards mid-wicket. Varun Chakaravarthy leaps a bit and plucks it nicely over his head. Buttler walks back, hugely disappointed. England are 1/2, needing 190 runs from 115 balls.
