Swing and a miss! A wide, slower one, bowled full and just inside the tramline. Washington Sundar extends the arms to go over covers but misses.

That's right in the blockhole. Full and outside off, on the money, Sundar smothers it into the off side, pinching a quick single.

Very full again, on the stumps, Iyer drills the low full toss down to long on and calls for two. He will only get a single this time.

That's perfect from Curran. Sam nails the yorker at the toes, Washington Sundar has both feet inside the crease, getting pegged back and nearly gets nutmegged but the ball crashes into the pads.

Back of a length, wide outside off, Sundar reaches out and hits it to deep cover for just a single. Just 3 runs off the over so far.

What a penultimate over from Curran, only 4 off it. Full and straight, Iyer gets across and whips it behind square leg for a single.

Drifted into the pads, slower as well. Iyer gets his hands out in front and pushes it through mid on for a couple of quick runs.

Tossed up, ends up being a full toss on leg. Iyer backs away and mistimes it on the bounce to long off for a single.

Rashid gives this one a lot more air, bowling it full and on off. Sundar stays deep and digs it through mid on for one more.

SIX! Smaller straight boundaries and Shreyas Iyer gets it over the ropes. Flighted ball on middle, Iyer steps out and lifts it high and over Tom Banton at long off for a maximum.

FOUR! Streaky but effective. Flatter one outside off, cut away off the outside edge and fine of the short third fielder for a boundary.

SIX! That's massive, and Shreyas Iyer has really bossed this battle between him and Adil Rashid today. Tossed up, drifted into middle and leg, Iyer dances down the track and hammers it straight down the ground for a biggie. 150 up for India.

Hard length on off, Iyer nudges it away through wide mid on and calls for two right away. The batters push hard and Jacob Bethell charges in from deep mid-wicket, but the batters complete the second run.

An off-cutter, wide outside off. Shreyas Iyer looks to get across and swing it leg side but gets it off the inside half of the blade and down to long on for just a single.

Slower again, but into the pitch and at the batter. Varma backs away early and only manages to dab it down to backward point.

SIX! That's a smart shot. Pace on from Tongue, a bit short and around leg stump. Varma swivels and gets inside the line, pulling it over fine leg for a biggie.

OUT! CAUGHT! Josh Tongue hits right back and that's a soft dismissal for Tilak Varma. Varma shows his cards early by running down the pitch and backing away. Tongue sees this and bangs in a slower short ball, cramping Varma for room. Varma just tries to angle it away but ends up cushioning it into the safe hands of Rehan Ahmed at backward point. India are 130/5 with just over 3 overs remaining.

Sundar stands deep in the crease as Tongue bowls it back of a length and on off stump. Sundar tries to get low and ramp it late but misses.

Misses out, does Iyer. Flatter and wider outside off, Shreyas Iyer goes for the reverse sweep but fails to connect.

Flatter again, on a length and darted across off. Iyer hops back and cuts it to deep point for a run.

Oh, that's nicely bowled. Jacks slows it right up, floating it on a nagging length on off. Tilak Varma backs away to cut but gets an under edge past the off stump and past the keeper for a single.

Dragged short and bowled quicker, Iyer jams it through mid off and turns the strike over.

Fullish length, pushed across the off stump, Varma hangs back and glides it away behind point for one more.

Gets away with that one, does Jacks, but he ends a fine spell of bowling, with figures of 4-0-28-1. Dragged well short on off, Shreyas Iyer swats it off the front foot and down to long on for a single.

FOUR! Adil Rashid is welcomed with a boundary. From the front of the hand, full and outside off. Iyer extends his hands and opens up the front hip to go inside out over cover.

Full and drifting in on middle. Shreyas firms the drive to wide long off for a single.

Across the left-hander. Varma drives this full ball back to Rashid.

Out comes the googly, shorter and on off. Tilak whips it wide of long on and turns the strike over.

SIX! Shreyas Iyer brings up his FIFTY in style. 2nd half-century in this series for Iyer. The Indian captain holds the key to his side finishing strongly here. Fractionally short by Rashid, it is the googly, on middle and leg. Iyer picks it from the hand and rocks back before pulling it over square leg for half a dozen. 13 runs off the over.

Slanting in, on middle and leg, fuller in length. Iyer uses his feet and drills it to long on for a single.

Around off, on a nagging length. Iyer steps out and smacks it to long off for a run.

Speared in very full, on middle. Dube clears the front leg and muscles it down the ground. Tom Banton is quick to his right at long on and gets low to tidy up. Single taken.

A run saved. Jacks drags the length back and bowls it outside off. Iyer hangs on the back foot and cuts it wide of backward point. It goes uppishly but evades the diving Rehan Ahmed at backward point. Jacob Bethell gets around in the deep and dives to prevent the boundary.

Superb effort. Darted in full and on middle. Dube clears the front leg and clubs it wide of long on. Tom Banton sprints and slides to his left. Sticks out the left hand to make the stop and quickly gets rid of the ball. A couple for Dube.

OUT! CAUGHT! Will Jacks wins the battle against Shivam Dube. This is cleverly slowed down by Jacks at 79 kph, and the length is a bit on the shorter side as well. Dube clears the front leg and has a swing across the line. The ball spins away a touch to induce the top edge. It is skied to long on, where Tom Banton moves to his right and gobbles it up.

Drops it short, on off. Varma waits on it and cuts it late to the right of deep point for a couple of runs.

Banged in short, over off. Dube tries to take it on initially but then bails out of the shot.

Wide! Pace taken off but this is down leg, Dube swivels for the pull but misses.

Well bowled! Pace on now at 130 kph. Curran spots Dube backing away and he pushes it wider on off. Shivam can't get to the ball.

FOUR! In the gap! Into the deck, off-pace delivery, on middle. Dube gives himself a bit of room and pulls it in front of square. He does not quite get it from the middle but beats the man at deep mid-wicket to his left.

Fuller and on middle. Dube has a hoick across the line. It goes on the bounce to deep md-wicket and the batters cross for one.

Half a shout for LBW. Not given. Iyer shuffled across the stumps, but that seems to have pitched outside the line of the leg stump. Harry Brook still wants to take a chance. Bowled full from over the wicket. Shreyas gets inside the line for the tickle but misses and gets hit on the outside half of the front pad before it goes behind to the keeper. No bat involved but as expected, the ball has pitched outside leg, confirmed by the Ball Tracking. England lose their first review.

Missed out. Curran goes searching for the yorker but ends up serving a knee-high full toss at the sticks. Iyer was perhaps expecting a short ball and was deep in the crease. He gets taken aback by the full toss and half-heartedly hits it through mid-wicket for just a single. Good comeback from Curran after being hit for a four.

Wide! Sprayed down leg. Dube lets it go.

Flighted up, on middle, a bit o turn. This is eased to long off for one.

Stays around the wicket for the right-hander. This is flatter and shorter, going across off. Iyer drags the pull through mid-wicket and crosses over.

A hint of turn, on a good length, on the off stump. Dube waits on it before punching it to long off. They cross.

Sliding across on the shorter side. Iyer cuts it in front of square and rotates the strike.

Jacks darts it down leg. Dube lets it go. Wide not given by the umpire as he feels Dube moved inside the line.

Tidy stuff from Jacks, just 6 off it. Flat and short, on off. Shivam knocks it to long off for just a single. 

Was that a chance? From the front of the hand, short and outside off. Iyer rocks back and goes hard on the cut but misses. Jos Buttler snatches at the ball and it pops out of his grasp. There was no edge, though, confirmed by the UltraEdge.

Looped up, on middle and leg, on the fuller side. Iyer eases it to long on for a single.

Bowls the googly now, on middle. Dube taps it to cover.

Floated up, googly on the pads. Dube clears the front leg and plays the slog sweep. It goes on the bounce to Sam Curran at deep square leg. Just a single.

A bit quicker, on a length, outside off. Iyer stays leg side of the ball and goes with the spin as he plays inside out over cover. The ball does not have enough legs to reach the fence. The long off fielder gets around and lobs it to the converging fielder to his left. Two runs taken.

SIX! Excellent use of the feet. A lot of air given this time, on off. Iyer puts the dancing shoes on and gets to the pitch of the ball. Smokes it over long off for half a dozen. 10 runs off the over.

The cross-seamer, on a good length and around off. Iyer hangs back and dabs it wide of short third for a single.

Oh, that was too close for comfort. Back of a length, on a tight line around off. Shivam Dube is already on the back foot, expecting the short ball and looks to guide it away for a single but gets an inside edge just past the off stump.

FOUR! Much better from Dube. Good length on off, sits up a bit, and Shivam Dube smacks it through the off side, in front of square and the ball races away to the fence.

Tongue goes full and straight now, at 145 kph. Dube digs it out to mid off.

Banged in short now, angled just across off. Dube tries to climb on top of the bounce and snatches at the pull, keeping it down through mid-wicket for a run.

Back of a length, just outside off. Iyer hangs back and plays a short-arm pull through mid-wicket for one more.

Fuller one, darted in at the toes, Iyer clips it behind square leg and rotates strike.

Back of a length and slower, angled across the off stump. Iyer jams the pull towards mid-wicket and picks up a single.

Full-pitched delivery on off, seems like a back-of-the-hand delivery. Dube drives it down to long off for one more.

Looking for two, but won't get it. Curran takes pace off and bowls it slightly into the surface, right around the hips. Iyer gets inside the line and dabs it towards mid-wicket for a single, and Curran quickly gets to it as well.

Another slower ball, short of a good length, angled into the batter. Dube opts to just stay leg side of the ball and punts it down to long on for a run more.

The super-slow ball now from Curran, pitched full and on off. Shreyas Iyer looks to hit it with all his might but only manages to drill it down to a straightish long off for the sixth single in the over.

Slower one, full and on the pads. Iyer fails to tuck it away and gets it off the pads, wide of the keeper, and picks up a leg bye.

Hammered in on a shorter length, outside off, Shivam Dube stands tall and smacks it down to cover-point.

Back of a length again, around off, Dube stays put again and just eases it past point for a single.

Another slower one from Archer, full and down leg. The ball just brushes the pads on its way to the keeper as Iyer fails to flick it away.

Archer hits a hard length, bowling it over off and middle at 146 kph. Iyer blocks it from inside the crease.

SIX! Shreyas Iyer has seen enough of Jofra and decides to play a cheeky shot here. A quick bumper, right at the batter, Iyer squats down and just ramps it fine of deep third for a six.

Bowled from the front of the hand, on off, worked away down to long on for one.

A bit slower now, drifted on the pads. Iyer waits well before tucking it into the vacant space at mid-wicket for a couple of runs.

Flatter now, a bit full and on off, punched off the back foot to long off for a single.

OUT! CAUGHT AND BOWLED! That's a very, very fine take from Adil Rashid. Rashid drags the length back and angles it across the left-hander. Abhishek Sharma tries to drag it to the leg side but miscues the pull badly and gets a top edge towards the vacant mid-wicket region. The bowler and the keeper both run after it, but Rashid does well to commit to it and scampers across the turf to pouch it safely. India are 48/3.

Tossed up a bit fuller on middle, Shivam Dube leans on and smothers it behind square leg for a single.

Nicely flighted, outside off, Iyer leans across and strokes it to deep cover for one more. 50 up for India.

Curran comes into the attack now. He starts with a full ball on the pads, Abhishek Sharma clips it wide of mid on for a single.

Good-length delivery, on off and middle, Shreyas Iyer stays put and blocks it off.

A touch fuller than the last one, on off, punched away to cover. Abhishek Sharma sets off for the single at the bowler's end before Iyer sends him back. The throw comes in and as Sharma puts in the dive, he gets hit on the body with the ball.

FOUR! The call is for two but Shreyas has timed that to perfection. Just back of a length, in and around off, Iyer shuffles in the crease before punching it through covers for a boundary.

Good length, around middle, tucked away in front of mid-wicket for a quick single.

A single to end the over, and India are 44/2 at the end of the Powerplay. Back of a length and outside off, Sharma stays back and scythes it in front of point for a single.

At the hips, Abhishek walks inside the line and picks it behind square leg for a single.

OUT! CAUGHT! The change of ends brings about success for Josh Tongue. Bowled into the wicket by Tongue, outside off. Kishan attempts to drag the pull away on the leg side but there is that extra bit of bounce from the surface. Ishan fails to get on top of it, and a top edge is found. Sam Curran at short third gets under it and pouches it safely. 

Hits the good length, in and around the off stump. Iyer dabs it to point.

FOUR! The Indian skipper is up and running. A little too straight, sprayed at the hips. Iyer tickles it fine of the man at short fine leg and picks up a boundary to get himself going.

Just outside the off stump, on a back of a length. Iyer angles it behind point, where Rehan Ahmed is quick to his left and prevents the single.

An early move towards the leg side by Iyer before returning to his normal standing position. Tongue holds his length as he dishes it on off, on a back of a length. Shreyas taps it to cover-point.

Flighted delivery, full and on middle. Kishan drives it back to Jacks.

Drifting in at the pads. Ishan reaches out in front and clips it to the left of mid on for a quick single.

FOUR! Gets it through. On a good length, slower and on off. Abhishek does not try to overhit this tone and just checks his drive after pressing forward. Threads the gap at cover and it races away.

Flatter and shorter, on off. Abhishek steps out and punches it to long off for one.

Fired in at the pads, Ishan stays back to a full ball and works it to the left of mid on. Jofra Archer overruns the ball there and gets into a bit of a tangle with his feet. That allows the batters to come back for the second run.

Nice and full, attacking the stumps, that is defended solidly off the front foot.

Hurls it on a length, around off. Abhishek pushes out in front of his body with hard hands. It squirts off an inside edge wide of mid-wicket and the battes sneak in a quick single.

In the air... but it lands safely. Archer bashes the hard length and gets a good lift off the deck, on middle. Sooryavanshi pivots to play the pull off the front foot. Gets it from the upper half of the bat and it is skied to deep square leg, where neither the deep fielder nor the fielder converging from the inner ring can get to the ball before it drops to the ground. A couple for Vaibhav.

Sooryavanshi gives himself a bit of room and Archer responds by spearing in the yorker, on middle.Vaibhav jams it out to mid off.

OUT! IN THE AIR AND GONE! For the second game in a row, Jofra Archer dismisses his IPL teammate. Archer hits the hard length and pushes it across the left-hander. Sooryavanshi stays back and swings at it, looking to go down the ground. There is a bit of extra lift off the surface, and Vaibhav ends up slicing it high in the air towards mid on, where Sam Curran settles under it and does the rest.

At 144 kph, on a back of a length, outside off. Kishan hops to get on top of the bounce and punches it behind point for a single.

Even quicker now at 148 kph and fuller as well, on off. A confident drive by Abhishek and the ball pings off his blade but he picks out the man at cover. End of a successful over from Archer.

FOUR! One bounce and over the ropes. Angled away, on a length. Abhishek hangs back in the crease and opens up the front hip to go inside out over cover for the first four of the contest.

Drags the length back and the line is tighter as well, on the off stump. Abhishek angles it off the back foot to backward point.

Fuller in length, across off. Sharma does not move his feet at all and throws his hands at the ball. It goes off the inner half in front of square on the leg side. They cross.

Around off, on a short of a length. Sooryavanshi stands tall and punches it wide of point, where Sam Curran mops it up. A bit of yes and no between the two batters but they eventually decide against the single.

FOUR! Hit with real authority. Tongue bangs it into the wicket but fails to get it high enough and also offers width. Sooryavanshi stands tall on top of the bounce and spanks it uppishly between cover and mid off for his first boundary.

SIX! Clever, very clever! Cross-seam ball by Tongue, on a shortish length, on off. Sooryavanshi arches back and gets under the ball. Uses the pace as well as the angle to play the upper cut over the man at short third for a six. Tongue goes for 15 runs in his first over.

Wide! India are away with this extra. Archer spots Sooryavanshi backing away and he tries to follow him with a hard-length ball. Vaibhav swings at it but fails to connect.

At 144 kph, dug in short, aimed at the ribs, Sooryavanshi swivels for the pull but mistimes it square on the leg side for a single to get off the mark.

Archer bashes the surface again and tucks the batter up for room. Abhishek hops and awkwardly fends it beside the strip on the leg side.

On a back of a length, on middle. Sharma nudges it from the crease to the left of mid-wicket and takes a single to open his account.

Into the wicket, on middle and leg. Sooryavanshi gives himself a bit of room and swings across for the pull. Gets it high on the bat but manages to clear mid-wicket. Adil Rashid goes after it and hauls it in. Two runs taken.

Pushed across the left-hander, more on the fuller side. Sooryavanshi goes a bit too hard at the ball, trying to force it through the off side. Miscues it off the inner half to mid-wicket.

Nails the yorker and cranks it up at 148 kph, outside off. Vaibhav fails to squeeze it out.
