Good review! A ripper of a yorker from Asitha Fernando, and this time the finger does go up. Gus Atkinson has reviewed it after a chat with Will Jacks. This is on the money from Asitha, full and straight, tails back in sharply. Atkinson tries to jam the bat down but the ball hits the left boot and rolls away to deep third. The third umpire has a look, and while zooming in, it is seen that the ball did hit Atkinson flush on the boot, but Ball Tracking shows that the ball is just missing the leg stump. The on-field decision is changed to Not Out.

Pavan Rathnayake, who is close in at extra cover, leaps up and snaffles it brilliantly with both hands. This will boost Colombage's confidence a lot, especially given his expensive start. A rare low score for Root, and England lose their fourth wicket, still needing 119 runs off 131 balls.

OUT! LBW! Excellent review, and the home crowd is silenced. Dunith Wellalage bowls it a tad full and on off, and gets it to drift back in with the arm. Harry Brook gets forward to defend but the ball dips and beats the inside edge, straightening a bit as well, before crashing into the front pad. There is a big appeal for LBW, but it is turned down. Kusal Mendis seems certain and signals for a review almost immediately. The third umpire has a look, and there's no UltraEdge to begin with.
