SIX! Just over! Tilak moves to 90, his highest score in IPL. Prasidh Krishna bangs it in short at pace, over middle. Tilak gets his hands high for the pull and gets just enough elevation on the pull. Kagiso Rabada at deep square leg leaps and sticks the right hand over his head, but the ball sails over his head.

Gets the yorker in, on middle. Tilak cannot get under it and can only hit it down to long on for a single.

Yorker gone slightly wrong for Prasidh. Low full toss, across off. Sherfane is deep in the crease and his weight stays on the back foot. He slices it along the ground to deep point for one.

FOUR! HUNDRED FOR TILAK VARMA! Maiden IPL ton for Tilak, and it could not have come at a better time for the Mumbai Indians. Prasidh Krishna digs it in short with Kagiso Rabada at square leg up inside the circle. This is on middle and Tilak swivels and gets on top of the bounce. He nails the pull over square leg and picks up a boundary to reach the milestone.

FOUR! Up and over! Siraj bowls the off-cutter, on a shortish length, outside off. Hardik takes it on off the front foot. One hand comes off the bat handle but Pandya manages to flat bat it over mid off for a four.

The on-field call of not out stays but that takes nothing away from the quality of the ball. A searing yorker from Siraj, tailing back in at the toes. Pandya clears the front leg and tries to jam it out. The ball catches him on the back pad before going away on the off side as the batters cross. Siraj goes up in an appeal for LBW but it is turned down. Gill asks Buttler if the ball has hit Hardik in line. Shubman eventually takes the review. The replays show a deflection of the inside edge and the UltraEdge confirms the same.

FOUR! Powered away! Siraj misses the yorker by a yard or so, on middle and leg. Varma manages to get it away as he drills it hard and to the right of the man at long on for a four.

SIX! Tilak Varma brings up his FIFTY in some style. His first half-century of the season and this has been some acceleration from the southpaw after a slow start. Sharma bashes the hard length but offers width on off. Tilak needs no second invitation and he flays it over backward point for a biggie.

FOUR! Cheeky and effective! On the off stump, on the fuller side, Varma walks across the stumps and plays the scoop wide of short fine leg for a four.

FOUR! Not from the middle but he gets it through! On a length at pace, outside off. Varma extends his hands to force the drive away. He does not quite middle it but manages to beat mid off to his left for another boundary.

SIX! Wow, Tilak Varma is rampant. 20 runs off the over with a couple of balls still to go. Ashok serves the slower one at 106 kph, this is right in the slot, on off. Tilak reaches out in front and collapses his back knee to clobber it over mid-wicket for half a dozen.

SIX! Back-to-back sixes for Tilak, and he really enjoyed this hit as did Hardik. Varma throws a punch in the air and mutters a few words to himself and gets a few words of encouragement from the skipper too. Sharma misses his mark. Right in the hitting arc, at pace, around off. Tilak needs no second invitation as he slams it with ease over long off for the third six of the over. 26 runs off the over with a ball to go.

Ouch, Tilak cops a painful blow. Sharma switches to over the wicket and pulls the length back, on middle and leg. Tilak swivels for the pull but the ball is not that short and Varma wears it right on the box. Tilak is down on the floor in agonising pain.

SIX! Straight as an arrow! Rashid tosses it up but ends up being a bit too full, outside off. Tilak pounces on it in a flash as he gets his hands through and smokes it towards the sight screen for a six.

FOUR! Glenn Phillips' effort goes in vain. Rashid drops it short and bowls the googly. Tilak waits on the back foot and gets on top of the bounce. He punches it through the gap between cover and extra cover. Phillips sprints and puts in an acrobatic dive to his left with a fair bit of hangtime, but he was in contact with the ropes as he tried to push the ball away.

Beaten again! Tighter line, on top of off, on a back of a length, cross seam ball. Hardik moves away from the stumps and tries to guide it to deep third but misses.

A trifecta of plays and misses. KG keeps it on a back of a length and the line stays around the off stump. Pandya tries to use the pace and glide it behind point but does not connect.

Looking at the previous two attempts from Hardik to use the pace, Gill brings a man at a fine short third. Rabada serves a low full toss, on middle. Hardik swipes it to wide long on for a run.

Superb stuff from Rabada, concedes just 4 runs. Pace off and into the deck, going away. Tilak drags the pull through square leg without any timing. Just a single.

SIX! A biggie right after the break! A floater from Krishna, full and on off with mid off up inside the circle. Tilak walks across to get closer to the line of the ball and he bends before going over mid off for a flat six.

FOUR! Tilak explores the 'V' behind the sticks now. The length is pulled back now by Prasidh and a bit more pace on it, around the off pole. Varma shufles inside the line and gets under it to scoop it over short fine leg for a one-bounce boundary.

FOUR! Nicely done! Tilak Varma is turning it on for MI. Pushed across the left-hander, on a length. Varma frees his arms and slams it over wide mid off for four more.

From around the wicket now, very full, outside off. Varma dances down the track and squeezes it out to the left of deep cover for a couple of runs.

Varma has a word with the skipper at the other end and takes the review. He wants the height to be checked. The graphics show that the ball is passing Tilak at 1.03 metres and Varma's waist height is also 1.03 metres. So, the on-field decision will stand. It is a fair delivery.

OUT! BOWLED'EM! Kagiso Rabada produces an absolute peach of a delivery. He lands this one fuller and on off, at 152.1 kph, getting it to jag back in sharply as well.
