But gets neither the timing nor the distance correct. Airs it to the leg side, where Rashid Khan runs to his right from deep square leg and takes a fantastic catch on his haunches with a slide.

FOUR! Oh, what a shot! FIFTY FOR SHIMRON HETMYER! His 5th in the IPL! Width outside off, on a length, Shimron Hetmyer strides across and nails the cover drive for a boundary.

IN THE AIR...but safe! Full and speared in on the stumps, Shimron Hetmyer looks to loft it over the leg side but a thick leading edge is found. The ball gets skied high up and swirls while descending behind mid on. Shubman Gill from mid off, runs across to his left and covers a good ground to take a diving catch but fails to lay a hand to it. A single taken.

Hard length from Skiddy, skidding on the surface and coming off quickly on the batter, on top of middle, Jofra Archer finds the ball a bit high around his chest level but goes for the pull shot and ends up slicing it in the air. It lobs straight into the safe hands of Shubman Gill stationed at mid off. Rajasthan Royals continue to slip as they are 144/7 now.

Prasidh Krishna continues to hit the hard length, skidding onto the body, on the leg stump line. Shimron Hetmyer mistimes the pull shot, as the ball bounces a bit extra off the deck. Hettie hits it only as far as Sai Kishore stationed at deep backward square leg. Wicket number three for Prasidh Krishna. And a fine inning of 52 off 32 from the strong Caribbean comes to an end.

DROPPED! Arshad Khan puts one down! Nicely tossed up by Kishore from around the wicket, near the wide guideline, Hetmyer is made to reach out and he slices it aerially towards deep cover. Arshad Khan comes in off the ropes and slides ahead to grab it but makes a mess of it. The ball grazes his fingertips and goes behind for a couple.

Looped up, very full, on middle, Shimron Hetmyer tucks it with soft hands in the vacant mid-wicket region and wants to come back for the second but Rashid Khan gets to the ball quickly and keeps the batters down to one.

Slows it down and drags the length back, on middle, Jofra Archer eases it to long off for a single.

Fuller-length delivery, on middle and leg, Dubey misses out on the flick. A big appeal from the bowler and keeper, but not given. They think of a review but don't take it in the end. Perhaps height was the issue there.

OUT! LBW! The finger is raised this time! Shubham Dubey asks his partner and takes the review. Fuller than the previous delivery and it is the googly, on middle, Dubey presses forward and tries to work it away on the leg side with a closed bat face. The ball sneaks past the inside edge and hits Shubham on the front pad. There is no bat involved and the Ball Tracking comes up as three reds with the ball crashing into the off stump. He dishes out a googly, on a length, angling on the leg stump line, Dhruv Jurel rocks back into the crease and shapes up to pull it aerially. However, he does not get enough space to work with but still goes through his shot. Airs it only as far as Sai Sudharsan who takes a good low catch. Dhruv Jurel departs on 5 (4).

An appeal for LBW, but not given by the umpire! GT go upstairs to challenge the on-field decision. Rashid Khan looks confident but the pitching is the concern as it seemed to have landed just outside leg. Another wrong'un on a length from Khan, attacking the pads of the left-hander. Shimron Hetmyer hangs back to tuck it across but wears on the pads as he misses to get any bat. Ball Tracking shows that the ball indeed pitched outside leg. GT lose a review here.

OUT! Caught behind, or not? An appeal for the catch, and the finger is raised. GT's players are overjoyed, but Riyan Parag is going nowhere and has opted for a review, challenging the on-field decision. Too full, and going across off, Riyan Parag tries to drive through the covers but gets a thick outside edge. Jos Buttler takes a fine catch behind the wickets. UltraEdge shows a huge spike, but still, Parag looks disappointed as he believes that the spike came when the bat grazed the surface. But the decision has been made and Parag makes a slow walk back to the dugout. An important wicket for GT and Kulwant Khejroliya makes an impact straightaway.

Back of a length on the middle stump, Dhruv Jurel defends it off the back foot, into the ground and starts running for a single. Sanju sends him back. The short mid-wicket fielder is quick enough to run forward, collect the ball and throw at the batting end. Jurel dives somehow and gets back. A direct hit and Jurel was gone.

WIDE! Way too short and over the batter's head, Jurel shapes to hook, but eventually lets it be. Wide called.

FOUR! Nicely pulled into the gap! Dug in short, on the bodyline, Dhruv Jurel stands tall and picks the gap between deep fine leg and deep square leg for a boundary to get off the mark.

SIX! OH, HELLO? Prasidh Krishna is introduced into the attack and bowls it on the fuller length, angling on the leg stump line. Riyan Parag shuffles a bit across, brings his wrists into play and aerially flicks it over deep mid-wicket for a stylish six.

SIX! Effortlessly done! Siraj serves it a bit too full, on middle, Riyan just goes through the line and lofts it way back into the stands over long on.

Well, the UltraEdge does show bat involved, but it bounced off the turf before going to Jos.

Siraj digs it in short, over off, Rana arches back and tries to use the pace by playing the ramp. It goes flat and straight to deep third where Kulwant Khejroliya stays low and takes it around his waist.

OUT! TAKEN! The plan comes to fruition for the Gujarat Titans! Yashasvi Jaiswal has picked out the fielder in the deep to perfection and he cannot quite believe it. Arshad serves it full and gets a hint of away movement. Jaiswal sees the width on offer and throws his hands at it. Does not bother to keep it along the ground, but neither does he get the desired power nor the gap. Hits it straight down the throat of Rashid Khan at deep point, who moves a bit to his left, and takes a reverse-cup catch around his face.

Wide! Sliding down leg, Rana misses the tickle.

Swinging away, on the fuller side, Rana eases the drive through point. Rashid Khan sprints and slides to his left in the deep and keeps the batters down to one.

Beaten! This goes away from the right-hander, at 138 kph, on a back of a length. This climbs onto Samson who tries to push it away on the off side and beats him on the outside edge.
