In the air and just short of sweeper cover. Full and wide outside the off, angled across the southpaw. Wade mistimes the slice and gets just a single.

SIX! IT'S A BIG SHOW IN GUWAHATI! Length and outside the off stump line. Width on offering outside the off. Glenn Maxwell goes deep inside the crease and sways it over the deep cover-point fielder for a six. Rinku Singh at the edge of the boundary ropes could only watch it sail over.

FOUR! Glenn Maxwell is turning the game on its head. Banged into the pitch around the fourth stump line. The batter waited for it, looked to slap but immediately changed his mind and sliced it towards deep backward point for a four.

FOUR! Glenn Maxwell races to his record-equalling fourth T20I century with a four. A full toss at the stumps. Maxwell tries to smoke it over the deep mid-wicket region but fails just short of the ropes. Eventually, it's a four towards deep mid-wicket region. The TV umpire checks for a no-ball for elevation but seems okayish.

FOUR! Glenn Maxwell finishes off in style and Australia stays alive in this T20I series. What a humdinger! Full and around the off stump line. Undercooks the attempted yorker and the right-handed batter tonks it down the ground over the bowler's head for a four. A magnificent knock from the Big Show, that too in his 100th T20I game, seals the deal in Guwahati for the visitors. 

FOUR!!! Axar from around the wicket in the 19th over. Full and quick outside the off. Wade makes room and slaps it past right of long off for a four. Ravi Bishnoi there did dive forward but could not pull it inside the field of play.

Shortish at the midriff. Wade miscues the pull towards deep backward square leg for a brace.

FOUR! A terrific start to the over from Australia. Length and wide outside the off. Wade initially made a tad room but managed to get enough on the slam over extra cover for a four. Suryakumar Yadav did leap and try to catch the ball but it wasn't enough.

No ball! Fuller than a length, wide outside the off. Wade tries to inside out and gets beaten on the outside edge. The keeper whipped the bails in a jiffy but the umpire signals it wide. The TV umpire has been referred to. Flat line on Ultraedge as the ball swirls through the willow. The umpire observes that the collection of the ball from the keeper was not fully behind the stumps. Marginally before the poles. And so, it gets converted into a no ball. A free hit on queue.

SIX! MAXIMO! Full and around the fifth stump line. Wade gets the space to go down the ground and times it off the middle of the bat. It was in the slot and Wade gets the desired result on the free-hit.

Full and outside the off. Wade miscues the drag towards left of the bowler for a single.

FOUR BYES! Length and angling down leg. It was flatter and Maxwell missed on the reverse sweep. Ishan Kishan misses to grab the ball behind the stumps and the cork flurries towards the ropes for four byes. 

Full at the off stump from over the wicket. Wade miscues the lofted shot over point for a single.

Slower one at the fourth stump. Maxwell manages to flick it towards the gap between deep mid-wicket and long on for a brace.

Short of a length into the pitch and around the off. Maxwell goes for a wild slog and gets beaten on the inside edge.

Mixes up with the pace-off delivery wide outside the off stump. Maxwell loses his bottom hand on the intended slog and finds a single as the ball fell just short of long on fielder.

DROPPED IT! Dear me!! Would've been a fantastic catch if Surya had grabbed it. Full and keeps it wide of the batter. Wade looks to thump hard and finds Suryakumar Yadav leaping to his left and almost making the catch at extra cover. The ball just spilled off his palm as the body struck on the ground.

Wide! Short and leaps up too much to be called a wide.

Length and outside the off. The batter goes for a big swing across the line and gets beaten. Frustration in the face of Maxwell.

SIX! Arshdeep Singh's slower one gets pumped over the deep square leg ropes. Full and around the fifth stump. Glenn Maxwell gets across the line sits on both knees and manages to whip this one over the ropes. Wristy bottom hand at its best!

SIX! KABOOM! Maxwell at his best in Guwahati. Full and around the off stump. In the slot from the bowler and the Big Show pummels it over the cow corner fence for a six.

Fuller at the fourth stump, made almost a yorker as Maxwell walked down the ground. He drives it to long off for a single.

Pitched further up, angling in at the southpaw. Wade plays this one towards long on for a single.

Back of a length, outside the off. Maxwell sways it towards deep cover for a single.

Full and around the middle stump. Wade looks to scoop it and finds a single down fine leg.

SIX! Out of the screws! Full and straight at the off stump. Maxwell times the flick perfectly and sails the ball over the park, into the stands over deep mid wicket.

 Good length and outside the off. Maxwell went for the reverse sweep and got beaten.

Full and outside the off. Maxwell shuffles across for the scoop and gets beaten again.

Full and near the fourth stump line. Maxwell mistimes the whip towards right of long on for a couple.

FOUR! Full and wide outside the off. Maxwell sits there and tries to stretch out at the line of the ball. He manages to get some bat and slaps the ball, past the diving fielder and scurrys towards deeper extra cover ropes.

Pitched up at the fifth stump. Driven towards sweeper cover for single.

Comes from around the wicket and angles it on a length from outside off, Glenn Maxwell hits it on the up to deep cover and picks up a single.

This is full and outside off, Matthew Wade frees his arms but only manages to drive it square through cover-point for a run.

Well bowled! Brings out the slower one now, full and outside off, Glenn Maxwell tries to back away and slap it away but is undone by the lack of pace.

SIX! Wow, that is a shot and a half and FIFTY IS UP FOR MAXWELL! On a good length and outside off, Glenn Maxwell gets in position for the reverse hit and ends up reverse-lapping it over the third man fence for a maximum. The job is not done yet for Maxwell and Australia need a lot more from him.

Slower one, banged in short over middle and leg, Glenn Maxwell gets inside the line and pulls it down to fine leg for a run.

Full and in the blockhole outside off, Matthew Wade jams it straight to point. 78 needed off the final five overs.

FOUR! A real gift! This is dragged down on middle and leg, Glenn Maxwell gets in a good position and pulls it off the back foot past short fine leg for a boundary.

Wide! Quicker and flatter, pushed well wide of the off stump, left alone for a wide.

Full and quick outside off, well over 100 clicks and this is just eased through covers for one more.

OUT! CAUGHT! Straight to the man and that's brilliant captaincy from Suryakumar Yadav. Ravi Bishnoi bowls this one on a length around off with the ball sliding on, just a touch slower as well. David gets a big stride forward and looks to block but does so with hard hands. The ball goes off the higher part of the bat and straight to Suryakumar Yadav at cover. The skipper takes an easy catch and holding one over of Bishnoi for David has worked wonders for India as the latter departs for a golden duck.

Full and on the leg peg, Matthew Wade gets down and plays the lap sweep toward fine leg for a single.

Flatter one, sliding it onto middle, Glenn Maxwell plays it with soft hands and in front of mid-wicket for one more.

Quicker one, fired across the left-hander, Matthew Wade watches it well and lets it through to the keeper.

On a length and sliding onto middle, Marcus Stoinis heaves it without much timing down to long on and collects a single.

SIX! Glenn Maxwell keeping Australia in it! Another one that slides in but this time it is full and in the hitting arc. Maxwell moves past the leg stump and clobbers it over long on for a biggie.

Flatter and the length is also pulled back, Glenn Maxwell misses the cut and lets out another frustrating grunt.

Good work in the deep! Quicker one angled into the batter, Glenn Maxwell slogs it away in between long on and deep mid-wicket. Bishnoi slides in from long on and then Rinku Singh tidies up to keep it down to a brace.

Short and wide, cut away past point for one.

OUT! CAUGHT! Axar Patel ends Marcus Stoinis' miserable stay at the crease and Australia are now four down. Axar slows it up ever so slightly and floats this one up on a shorter length around middle. Stoinis backs away to open up the off side and muscle it away but ends up slicing it to the left of Suryakumar Yadav at cover. The Indian skipper makes no mistake and Stoinis has to depart.

Charges in and bowls it on a hard length on middle, slanting it in, Marcus Stoinis gets cramped for room and has to just block it out.

Oh, that could have been catastrophic! Good length on off, Marcus Stoinis backs away and mistimes the flat-batted shot to the left of mid off and sets off for the single. Glenn Maxwell though is caught ball-watching but Suryakumar Yadav misses the shy at the striker's end and Maxwell survives.

Banged in over middle, Glenn Maxwell looks to pull it off the back foot but mistimes it down through mid-wicket for a single.

No foot movement and Marcus Stoinis is looking out of nick here. Fuller in length on the fifth stump line, Stoinis stays rooted to the crease and looks to play away from the body but is beaten past the outside edge.

FOUR! Gets this one away though! Short and wide, standing up for the batter, Marcus Stoinis rocks back a bit and punches it square through covers for a boundary.

Good running! Hard length around off, punched away in front of extra cover for a quick single. The 50 of the stand comes up between these two.

FOUR! This is floated up on a shorter length and well outside off, Glenn Maxwell waits on it and cuts it well in front of square on the off side for a boundary.

Loops this one up full and outside off, sliding it in, Glenn Maxwell looks for the cover drive but misses out and lets out a grunt as well.

Flighted one outside off, Glenn Maxwell leans forward and pushes it down to long off for a single.

OUT! CAUGHT BEHIND! Finally, some respite for India as Arshdeep Singh finds the breakthrough. Comes from over the wicket and serves it on a shortish length around off, angling it across the right-hander. Aaron Hardie gives the charge and looks to heave it over wide long on but only manages to get a thick outside edge. Ishan Kishan moves to his right and gobbles up the chance as Australia lose their first wicket.

FOUR! Oh, hello! Fullish length around off, angling away, Josh Inglis simply walks across the stumps and picks it up before scooping it down to fine leg for a boundary. Straight into the action Inglis and the 50 is up for Australia.

Back of a length around off, Josh Inglis gets on the back foot and on top of the bounce before punching it to deep cover for a single.

Nagging length, not too full and on off stump, Travis Head presses halfway forward and pushes it to mid off.

FOUR! Easy pickings! A gentle full toss on the pads, Travis Head flicks it off his legs and wide of short fine leg to end the over with a boundary.

Starts off on a hard length and angles this one across the left-hander, Travis Head backs away and looks to fetch and heave it across the line but miscues it behind square leg for a single.

Hits the deck hard again and bowls it around off, Aaron Hardie winds up for the slog but flat -bats it on the bounce to the man at mid on.

Nicely bowled! Goes fuller now and bowls it in the channel around off, angling it in a bit. Aaron Hardie looks to stay back and run it down to third man but is beaten past the outside edge.

Wide! Short and wide, a bit too wide though and the umpire signals a wide.

Swing and a miss! Mixing up the length here as he bowls it a touch fuller again, angling it in from outside off. Aaron Hardie looks to whack it away over mid-wicket but misses it completely.

FOUR! Gives the charge and gets it over the infield! This is banged in a bit short around off, Aaron Hardie comes forward and is able to lift the ball over covers with brute force for a boundary.

Ends with a dot and just 6 off the over, a much better one for India. Short and wide, hitting the deck hard, Aaron Hardie goes after it but only connects with thin air.

FOUR! Aaron Hardie finally gets to face a ball and gets off the mark with a boundary as well. A loosener from Ravi Bishnoi though as he bowls a juicy full toss outside off. Hardie hammers it away wide of mid off and past the diving long off fielder for a boundary.

The big wrong'un, flatter and quicker, turning in from outside off, Hardie cuts it off the back foot in front of point and picks up a couple of runs.

Fires this one in full on middle, Aaron Hardie drills it hard but straight to mid on.

Floats it up a bit around off, Aaron Hardie goes for the slog but gets it off the inner half of the bat toward deep square leg for another brace.

Wide! Drags this one short and down the leg side, lucky for Bishnoi that Aaron Hardie missed the easy pick-up shot over short fine leg. A wide is called though.

Just drags the length back a touch and bowls the wrong'un around middle, Hardie misses the drive and the ball deflects off the pads past short third man. They get a couple of leg byes.

FOUR! Smartly done by Aaron Hardie! Hardie backs away early and Bishnoi tries to slow it up, Hardie waits and goes into out through the gap at covers and picks up another boundary. 15 off Bishnoi's first over!

FOUR! Thumped away! Hard length to start with, outside off, Travis Head backs away but manages to find enough power to lift the back leg and hit it well wide of mid off for a boundary.

Much better line! Hard length again over middle and off, Travis Head looks to back away and hammer it over the off side but is well beaten by the pace and bounce.

Good length around the top of off, Head looks to cut it behind point but ends up chopping it to backward point.

FOUR! Nailed! Too full on the leg peg, Travis Head stays deep and is able to clear the front leg before whipping it away in front of mid-wicket for a second boundary in the over.

FOUR! Make that three! Short and wide, there to be hit, Head backs away yet again and slaps it straight through cover-point for four more runs.

FOUR! The end result is simply the same! This is pitched up a bit on the stumps, Travis Head takes the front leg out of the way and hammers it flat back over the bowler's head to make it 16 runs in the over, just the start Australia needed.

FOUR! Flailed away and Travis Head is up and running! Arshdeep Singh steams in from over the wicket and serves a full and wide one, swinging it away. Head goes hard after it and the ball flies off the outside edge down to third man for a boundary.

A stifled appeal and nothing more! Good length on middle, swinging the ball into the left-hander this time, Travis Head stays leg side of the ball but is caught on the crease and gets hit on the pads.

Good length again, on middle and leg and angling in, Travis Head hangs back and watchfully blocks it out.

FOUR! Too wide again from Arshdeep! Pitched up outside off, Travis Head frees his arms and goes after it, doesn't get it off the screws but more than enough to get it over covers and find the fence.

Hits the deck hard and bowls it around off, the ball bounces a bit extra this time, Travis Head looks to cut but miscues it to point.

Goes full and wide, swinging it away from the arc, Travis Head backs away and has to really reach for it. Head toe-ends it to the left of mid off for one.
