OUT! EDGED AND TAKEN! That is fantastic glovework from Ishan Kishan. Axar Patel bowls it flat and a touch full, darting it across off stump. David Miller rocks back and looks to fetch and pull but the length is very full. The ball takes the inside edge and thumps the keeper's pads before popping out. Kishan dives to his right and eventually pouches it with his right glove.

OUT! CAUGHT! Ryan Rickelton started walking back even before the catch was taken and the world's number 1 T20I bowler has struck on his very first delivery. Varun Chakaravarthy starts around the wicket to the left-hander and bowls it on a good length outside off. Rickelton looks to sit down and drag the slog sweep across but gets a top edge. The ball comes back down and the keeper, Ishan Kishan has to just take a couple of steps to his right to pouch it.

OUT! CAUGHT! The slower one does the trick for Shivam Dube. The change to bring Dube into the attack has worked out well for India. Back of a length with a flick of the finger, just before releasing the delivery, wide outside off. Dewald Brevis frees his arm and tries to smoke it downtown, but miscues the shot from the upper part of his willow. The ball loops toward wide long off, where Tilak Varma gets underneath the skier and takes a good catch. Dewald Brevis walks back with just 2 runs off 4.

This is excellent bowling from Arshdeep Singh! Slower-short delivery and shaping it away from the left-hander. Ryan Rickelton drags a pull shot but as the ball is moving away from him, he fails to generate much power. The ball rolls to mid-wicket and the batter gets no run. 

FOUR! HAMMERED AWAY! Short of a length, around the ribs of the batter. Ryan Rickelton hangs on his back foot and pulls it to the left of the deep square leg region for four runs. 

Full, on off, shaping it away once again. Ryan Rickelton drives it to the right of cover, but Suryakumar Yadav tumbles away and makes a stop.

FOUR! More runs! Arshdeep Singh sees the batter making room to the leg side, so Arshdeep follows Ryan, pitches it fuller, angling it down the leg side. But Rickleton does well to tickle it through fine leg for the boundary. 

Swing and a miss! Harshit Rana scoots from around the wicket, bowls on a hard length, pitching it just outside off, angling in. Ryan Rickelton looks to pull it across the line, but gets beaten on the inside edge. The ball just bounces over the middle stump. That was a close call. 

FOUR! SHOT! Short of a length, outside off, Ryan Rickelton connects his pull this time past the left of the mid on fielder and gets four runs.

FOUR! Not entirely from the middle of the bat, but the timing of the shot does the job for Markram. Rana switches his side over the wicket to bowl right-hander and bowls fuller, on off, shaping in. Aiden Markram lofts it from the inner part of his willow and extends his arm a bit away from his body to time the shot. The ball loops over mid on fielder and races away for another boundary in the over.

Oh, Markram has taken a hit and is on his haunches with his face on the ground. Hardik Pandya follows Aiden Markram on the leg side with a hard length delivery. Markram fails to get his bat on it and wears it on the box. A bit painful and the physio is out. 

In the 8-meter length, on top of middle, Aiden Markram works it down to mid off and runs across. Markram limps a bit as he jogs across.

Touch fuller and on middle and leg, little bit of shape, Ryan Rickelton whips it behind square leg for a single.

FOUR! 9 runs off the over. South Africa need more from a single over. A slower bumper but serves with too much width. Aiden Markram rides the pull shot and hits it in the vacant deep mid-wicket region. 

SIX! Fourth six in the last four deliveries! Arshdeep Singh now bangs it short, not too short and lands nicely for Markram, who hoicks it across over mid-wicket for a six. 

A good length delivery, on top of off. Markram stays back and chops it to backward point.

Tap and run! A nagging length delivery, around off, Markram drops it in front of cover and calls for a quick single. SKY has a shy at the bowler's end but misses from a close range. 

FOUR! Easy pickings! Ryan Rickelton is off the mark in style! Overpitched, slanting on the pads, this is flicked past mid-wicket and it rolls to the fence. 

Attacks the stumps with a length delivery. Ryan Rickelton punches with soft hands to mid off and scampers across. The fielder has a shy at the bowler's end but misses. Luckily, Ishan Kishan, the keeper covers a lot of ground to do the back up and stops it from running away.

Beaten! Singh ends the over well. Short of a good length, around the fourth stump. Aiden Markram tries to play it with a straight bat inside the line and misses.

Oh, beautifully bowled! A well planted yorker into the blockhole, swings into the batter and George Linde manages to dig it out back onto the pads.

BEATEN AGAIN! Fractionally fuller than the previous delivery, more shape on this one as Singh lands it on off, Linde swings wildly but connects the thin air around it. 

OUT! TAKEN! Linde as an opener doesn't work! On a nagging length, swinging into the batter, on leg, George Linde plays a nothing shot, just tries to punch it away over mid on but mistimes and Hardik Pandya takes a dolly. A run and a wicket for India to begin it's defensive shift.
