He has to depart after playing a really good knock. Ireland would have liked to have him there in the middle till the end but he has to walk back to the shed.

The replays show that the ball bounced and hit him on the throat. After getting some treatment and a good amount of delay, we are seeing the umpire signalling for the DRS on South Africa's demand. Maybe, they demanded it earlier but the umpire waited for the player to get treated. Anyway, the Ultra Edge confirms there is a spike as the ball passes the bat and a top edge had hit Andy on his throat. Would have been a really painful blow. The on-field decision stays and South Africa lose a review.

OUT! Caught at covers! The struggle for Paul Stirling is over. Phehlukwayo played on his patience with the slower ones and this time shortens his length slightly. Stirling thinks it's short enough to pull but he doesn't account for the slowness of the delivery. This one is bowled at 117.3 kph. Stirling is a bit early into the pull shot and gets a top edge towards covers. David Miller is underneath it and he is not going to drop those. First blow to Ireland and it's a big one too.
