Gowtham is looking for one and once he sees the ball being lobbed to Sharma, he moves forward. Sharma though quickly throws the ball back at the batter's end and scores a direct hit. Gowtham puts in the dive but the replays show that he is well short.

Marcus Stoinis works it away well in front of mid-wicket for what looks to be an easy couple of runs but on the way for the second run, the two batters are caught ball-watching. Stoinis collides with Deepak Hooda and the throw comes in toward the batter's end from Tim David. That collision caused Stoinis to be stranded outside his crease and Ishan Kishan dives in to whip off the bails. What a dramatic way to get out!

OUT! CAUGHT! BEHIND Two in two for Akash Madhwal and Nicholas Pooran departs for a golden duck! Switches to 'round the wicket and bowls it on a good length, in the corridor of uncertainty, on off, Nicholas Pooran pokes his bat at the delivery and gets an outside edge. Ishan Kishan behind the wicket does the rest. Madhwal is all smiles and he will be on a hat-trick now. Lucknow have now lost half their side.

Switches to over the wicket now and bowls it back of a length around off. Marcus Stoinis looks to pull it away but the ball sneaks under the willow.

FOUR! Top shot! Back of a length again, at 142.4 clicks and outside off. Marcus Stoinis gets on top of the bounce and slaps it away in front of square on the off side for a boundary.

Loose shot! Shorter and outside off, Marcus Stoinis gets caught on the crease and just jars at the ball. Stoinis gets an outside edge that runs down to third man and they get a single.

Tim David, the man backing up pick up the ball and under-arms it onto the stumps. The replays show that Mayers was able to get back in time.

The ball though comes off the outer half and flies toward third man where Hrithik Shokeen takes a good low catch to his left.

Full and straight, Krunal Pandya flicks it straight to mid-wicket. Solid start from Akash Madhwal, just 2 runs and a wicket off it.
