NOT OUT! Dinesh Karthik's celebration was cut short by the third umpire. It is floated and full, outside off. Deepak Hooda gets low and tries to sweep it away but gets beaten by the sharp away turn. Dinesh Karthik gathers the ball quickly and shatters the bails. He has his arm in the air and the bowler celebrates, as it would've been his first wicket of the campaign. The umpire though took it upstairs. The UltraEdge confirmed no bat is involved. The replays suggest that Deepak Hooda had his back leg grounded when the bails were coming off.

OUT! CAUGHT BEHIND! A superb review from Bangalore and they have got the dangerous KL Rahul here. This is on a length and down the leg side. Rahul seems to miss his flick. An appeal for caught behind but nothing is given. Bangalore though are interested and challenge the decision. UltraEdge shows a spike as the ball passes the bat and KL Rahul will have to walk back. Actually, only Harshal Patel was putting up an appeal, even the keeper wasn't interested at all. Normally, you will see a keeper doing all the convincing part.

OUT! CAUGHT AT SLIPS! Josh Hazlewood makes the new ball dance and gets the better of Quinton de Kock. A length ball, pitching on middle and leg, it leaves the batsman with some extra bounce as it is angled across the left-hander. Quinton de Kock goes flirting away from his body and ends up getting a thick outside edge. Dinesh Karthik looks to dive initially for the catch but then pulls out. Credit to Glenn Maxwell for staying focused as he takes a step to his right at first slip to pouch it comfortably. Bangalore get the early breakthrough they were looking for.
