MISFIELD, FOUR! Did Surya lose the ball in the lights? Flighted, around off, David Miller stays leg side of the ball and chips this towards long off. Suryakumar Yadav charges onto the ball for the catch but then, stops abruptly. Eventually, the ball drops in front of him and goes past him to the ropes. His reactions seemed to indicate that he just lost the ball at the last moment. 99 more needed from 46 balls.

OUT! CAUGHT! Boult provides the breakthrough! A short ball, around off, but excellent change of pace. Mitchell Marsh lines up for the pull shot but the ball kind of holds onto the surface. As a result, it arrives late and causes a miscue off the top portion of the bat. The ball hovers in the air near deep square leg where Tilak Varma completes a simple catch. A googly from the bowler, full and on the leg stump. Mitchell Marsh goes to flick it, but the ball turns more than expected, missing his bat on the inside edge. The ball then deflects off his front pad to the short third fielder. A single taken, leg bye signalled.

 Badoni makes room and beautifully drives the flighted delivery straight down the ground between extra cover and sweeper cover for a couple of runs. Trent Boult makes a diving stop, diving to his right, preventing a boundary.

Short and turning away, from around off, Mitchell Marsh punches it through cover. Suryakumar Yadav does well in the deep to keep it down to just one.

Pooran looks to clear the fence down the ground but doesn't get enough power to take it sailing over the fielder at long off. FOUR! A boundary to begin the innings for Rishabh Pant, not the most convincing though. Short of a length around off, Rishabh Pant looks to cut this through point but gets it edged and still manages to find the gap towards the right of short third for four runs. 

OUT! The poor run of games continues for Pant. Tossed up around middle and leg, Rishabh Pant opts to go for the reverse sweep but he gets cramped for room to play this as this was dished closer to the batter. Pant ends up helping this into the hands of Karn Sharma at short third for a regulation catch.

Is this pressure telling on Nicholas Pooran? Only time will tell. Good length wide outside off, not too far away from the off stump. Pooran gives it a mighty heave but fails to get any part of his bat at the ball. The ball whiskers past the off pole back to the keeper. 

Too full, on off. Nicholas Pooran hammers this rolling to mid off for no run. Mitchell Marsh at the other end was looking for a single but denied rightly so by Pooran.

SIX! That's what Pooran can do and is expected to do. Attempted wide yorker, Nicholas Pooran converts this into a full toss, opens the face of his bat and slices this beyond the reach of deep backward point, to his left for six runs.

SIX! MONSTROUS! Good length, angling into the batter. Mitchell Marsh was up for it as he settled well within his popping crease and gave it a proper whack. The ball flies out of the middle of Marsh's bat and is deposited into the stands towards the deep mid-wicket region.

Excellent yorker, around off, similar to the one which got rid of Marsh in the previous game, against Mukesh Kumar. This time, the Bison is watchful and pushes it through mid on for a single.

The fielder in the deep, Naman Dhir, charges forward for the catch but the ball dips and lands just in front of him. Aiden Markram walks down and away and looks to tuck this towards the mid-wicket region, but he gets outfoxed by the lack of pace and gets beaten on the inside edge. He is in some pain as the ball crashes just under his abdomen.

OUT! CAUGHT! Excellent timing, but that brings about Markram's downfall! History made at the Wankhede as JASPRIT BUMRAH BECOMES THE LEADING WICKET TAKER FOR MUMBAI INDIANS IN THE IPL! Gets his 171st scalp, which takes him beyond Lasith Malinga, one of the all-time greats. Coming to the ball, it is a length ball, around off and Aiden Markram shows the excellent quality of his wrists. He just works this beautifully and does not bother to keep it down. But to his dismay, the ball travels sweetly and straight to the lone man at deep mid-wicket! Naman Dhir makes no mistake and Bumrah has his hands aloft, with a smile. Markram, who was looking good, departs for 9 (11) and Lucknow Super Giants are 18/1, needing another 198 from 104 balls.

SIX! GIGANTIC FROM MARSH! On a length down leg, Mitchell Marsh leans into it and picks it up, deposits this on top of the roof of the stadium towards deep square with a flick for a six. This was purely timed right out of the middle of Marsh's bat.

Comes round the wicket, lands it on a good length and angling sharply back into the batter. Mitchell Marsh misses out on the flick and wears it on his pads. There is a bit of an LBW appeal but without much conviction. Probably going down leg.

FOUR! BEAUTY! First boundary of the run chase. Early present from Trent Boult. Wide half volley, outside off, Aiden Markram leans, gets to the pitch of the ball and drives it crisply through the covers. Fine way to get off the mark.
