His fighting knock is appreciated by the Bangladeshi camp. New Zealand just two wickets away now.

The crowd is up on its feet. Liton Das removes his helmet and raises his bat to acknowledge the applause. He has deserved this. This is his second Test hundred. Came to bat with his team in all sorts of trouble and has played a gem of a knock here. It seems that his knock won't matter much in deciding the result but at least he has shown the courage to fight.

That is a snorter! Have to say, it is well played in the end by Das! A sharp bumper on middle, Das initially looks to defend but then realizes it is a little too quick. He gets his hands out of the way and lets it through to the keeper. 

A short one, this is pulled down to fine leg for one.

That is a beauty! Length and on off, this lands and then moves away. Das is beaten as he tries to block.

Length and on off, Das pushes it through covers. Three taken. That was not a bad ball, it was hit on the up through covers.

That is close! Boult gets this to come back in from outside off, Hasan did plant his front foot a little too across but connects with his bat and plays it to mid off.

Fuller again, this one tails back in from outside off, Hasan looks to drive but it goes off the inner half on the leg side.

Uppish but just wide! This one tails back in from off, Hasan gets his front leg out of the way and works it uppishly but wide of mid-wicket and to mid on.

A short one, Ali quite nervously ducks under it.

Good length and on off, defended. Wagner oversteps, probably trying too hard for that extra yard of pace.

Drop and run! On off, Ali pushes it towards cover for one.

OUT! TAKEN! Wagner has another one and New Zealand now are managing to take wickets at regular intervals. They are just 5 wickets away now. Yasir Ali, who was quite solid in the first innings, falls to a nasty nut from Wagner. It is short and on the body, Yasir looks to fend it away again but does so uncomfortably. It goes off the splice and lobs to Latham at second slip. He takes a dolly. You just can't do a lot about such deliveries, you know they are coming but can't do a lot about it. Wagner is pumped and roaring in delight.

Nicely played! Shorter and on middle, Hasan gets on top of the bounce and keeps it out on the off side.

OUT! EDGED AND TAKEN! Taylor holds onto it and this time there is no doubt. Haque departs. He always seemed uncomfortable with those deliveries outside off. He chased quite a few and missed quite a few, a couple of edges were also found which did not go to hand but his luck runs out this time. Wagner goes full and outside off, a litltle bit of shape away. Haque goes after it, it goes off the outside edge and it is taken by Taylor at first slip. New Zealand 6 wickets away now.

It is all happening out there! Not sure how Ali has not been dismissed! This is a nasty delivery, it is short and on the body, Ali looks to fend it away. It hits the glove and lobs behind over the slip cordon. Nicholls and Latham both go for it. The former from gully and the latter from second slip. Nicholls leaps and looks to take it with one hand but it does not stay in. Ali goes for a run but is sent back. Taylor picks the ball up and then has a shy at the keeper's end but misses. Yasir may have been short. In the end though he survives. Maybe Nicholls should have left it for Latham, it could have been an easier chance for him. No one called but there wasn't much time to call, to be honest.

Gets this one to tail back in from off. Das works it to mid-wicket.

NOT OUT! It indeed is off the shoulder! Good review by Das and he survives. Excellent delivery from Boult though. He kept getting the ball back in but this time bangs it shorter and angles it away from off. Das is squared up as he tries to block. It seems to have gone off the edge to the keeper who takes it. The umpire raises his finger. Das reviews and replays show the on-field call has to be overturned.

FOUR! Over the top! It goes off the shoulder. Shortish and on off, this one takes off. Haque looks to defend but it goes off the shoulder, over the slip cordon and into the third man fence.

Good fielding! Fuller and on off, Das drives but the man at covers dives to his right and stops it.

OUT! EDGED AND TAKEN! Finally the edge is found and it goes to hand! Not exactly to hand as it is a catch manufactured and what a grab it is. Tom Latham, you beauty! That is a screamer. Wow! Southee manages to break the stand that was going along nicely. This catch will lift the Kiwis. Southee persists with the line outside off. This is fuller and it is the tempter.
