DRINKS BREAK. At the halfway stage, Pakistan are trying to get a move on as they are 70/3 and need 125 more runs to win. Again, the critical talking point is the percentage of dots consumed by the batters. An interesting graph shown on air a couple of deliveries back clearly indicates their struggles to keep the scorecard moving in this format. Around 40 percent of dots per innings on average since the last three or four years. South Africa have kept it really simple. They have attacked the stumps and have hit the hard lengths, getting that skid off the surface, which has effectively trapped the batters from freeing their arms.
