SIX! FETCH IT! Jack Jarvis bowls another short ball and keeps it around off. Marcus Stoinis stands tall and slaps it over long on. The ball comfortably clears the fence for a biggie and Australia win the first game in this series by 7 wickets and absolutely establish themselves in Edinburgh.

SIX! BANG! A series of short balls from Davidson. Josh Inglis just picks this one up on the leg side. The fielders watch the ball flying over the deep mid-wicket region for a biggie. This chase is taking a heavy toll on Scotland's bowling attack.

Tossed up now on the toes. Josh Inglis clips it towards mid on and gets off the mark with a single. We haven't seen that in a couple of overs.

Wide! Errs in line now. Short and way outside off. Travis Head leaves it alone as the umpire signals a wide.

Floated full around off. Travis Head slaps it back past the bowler for a single.

A juicy full toss, angling into the pads. Josh Inglis whips it to deep square leg for another single. A quiet over so far.

SIX! UP UP AND AWAY! Mark Watt drops it short and around off. Travis Head gets low and slogs it over deep backward square leg. The ball lands beyond the fence for a biggie. Keeps the attack coming from one end.

OUT! TAKEN! THAT IS THE BIG WICKET! Mark Watt creates a significant impact. Takes two in his over. He serves it full and right on the off pole. Travis Head looks to muscle it over long off but like Marsh, he too doesn't get the distance needed. It is Michael Leask again to complete the catch and Head departs after a monstrous knock of 80 (25).

FOUR! FIFTY FOR TRAVIS HEAD! In just 17 balls and we have seen that before. They will not stop! On a length and over off. Head moves away and punches it through covers. The ball races off to the fence for four runs to begin the over. 

SIX! CARNAGE! Short now as Brad Wheal pitches it over middle. Travis Head swivels and pulls it with supreme timing. The ball sails over the fence at deep square leg for a biggie. This is destruction of the bowling attack.

FOUR! OH MY WORD! On a nagging length but Head won't stop. He punches it over cover and the ball again finds the vacant region and races off to the fence for four runs. On the brink of breaking a WORLD RECORD and this is just the 2nd time in T20Is that 100 runs have been crossed inside the Powerplay.

FOUR! WOW! On a good length and on the pads. Travis Head whips it off and the ball runs fine. There is no stopping it from meeting the fence for four runs. Australia have now posted the highest powerplay score in the history of T20Is.

FOUR! HELPED AWAY! Poor delivery on the pads. Travis Head gets some bat on it and the ball races past square leg. The ball isn't stopping before meeting the fence for a boundary.

FOUR! 26 off this over! Brad Wheal has no clue where to bowl. He serves it on a length and on off. Travis Head cuts it past point and the ball again finds the fence for four more runs to end the over. Australia 113/1 at the end of the Powerplay, unreal!

SIX! BOOM! Right off the middle of the bat! Jack Jarvis starts from over the wicket and digs it in short over middle and leg, Mitchell Marsh stands tall and launches it over mid-wicket for a biggie.

SIX! BANG! Picks the bones out of this one! Shorter in length and over middle, sits up nicely for Head who reads the length right and pulls it over square leg for a biggie. 

On a back of a length, and on the bodyline, Travis Head looks to pull it square but misses. 

FOUR! Hit with authority! Brandon McMullen serves it full and on middle and off, Travis Head makes room and lofts it over mid on for a boundary.

SIX! Absolutely effortless! Travis Head is putting on a show here! This is short and over middle and leg, Travis Head pulls it over backward square leg for a biggie.

Starts from over the wicket and hits the hard length, on top of off, Jake Fraser-McGurk punches it to cover-point solidly. 

Shorter in length and over the stumps, Jake Fraser-McGurk looks to cut it away on the off side but gets cramped for room as the ball zips past the inside edge and straight to the keeper. 

OUT! CAUGHT! Oh no, not the debut Jake Fraser-McGurk was hoping for! Scotland strike early and land a major blow by taking down a key player right at the start of the innings. What a huge wicket as Jake Fraser-McGurk walks back for a duck! McMullen digs it short and over middle and off, Jake Fraser-McGurk waits back and looks to pull this away but mistime his shot over mid-wicket, Charlie Cassell backtracks and takes a brilliant catch above his head and he tumbles back. 

FOUR! Not a very convincing shot from the Aussie skipper! This is on a length and on off, Mitchell Marsh checks his shot away from his body and gets it off the outer half and past short third for a boundary. Australia are up and running!

Shorter in length again and outside off, Mitchell Marsh leaves it alone. 

WIDE! Brandon McMullen bowls it on a length but down leg for a wide and that is a brilliant take from Matthew Cross who is standing up to the stumps.
