RCB की ownership deal 1.78 billion dollars यानी 16,706 करोड़ रुपए में final हुई है। यह IPL की सभी 10 teams में सबसे ज्यादा valuation है। UK की Diageo group से 100% stake खरीदा गया है। एक consortium ने RCB को खरीदा है जिसमें आदित्य बिरला group, Times of India और Bold ventures शामिल हैं। आर्यमन विक्रम बिरला, जो आदित्य बिरला group के director हैं, RCB के chairman होंगे। सत्यन गजवानी Times of India की ओर से vice chairman की भूमिका निभाएंगे। David Blitzer जो Bold ventures के founder हैं और विरल पटेल जो BXPE के CEO हैं, भी consortium में शामिल हैं। BCCI ने इस deal को green signal दे दिया है। Rajasthan Royals की deal भी 15,000 करोड़ में close हुई है। RCB को IPL की सबसे popular team माना जाता है जिसकी fan following सबसे बड़ी है।
