Short from Matthew, on middle. Tilak Varma rocks back and drags it across to deep mid-wicket for a single.

A quicker short ball, at 109 kph. Shivam Dube rises up and controls the pull shot to deep mid-wicket for another run.

Darts in a length ball, on a tighter line, on off. Tilak Varma is rushed on the back foot and punches it to widish extra cover for a single.

Too short and outside off. But Dube mistimes the pull shot towards deep square leg for a single. Good comeback from Matthew Humphreys despite going for a four in the first ball.

Does not carry! Angling away, on a back of a length. Dube stands tall and swings through the line. Gets the height but not the distance. Harry Tector charges across to his left from long off and puts in a dive. The ball does not carry but Tector prevents it from going past him. Just a single.

Into the wicket, on middle. Tilak pulls it through square leg for a single.

Across off, on a hard length, pace taken off. Shivam mistimes the pull towards deep mid-wicket for another single.

Sticks to the slower one, on a good length. Tilak walks across and drops it in the vacant square leg region. He is keen for the second but the short fine leg fielder keeps it down to one.

OUT! CAUGHT! Shivam Dube holes out. Matthew Humphreys bowls it into the surface, on middle. Dube pivots for the pull but gets no power on it whatsoever. Mistimes the pull and it goes straight down the throat of deep square leg, where George Dockrell gobbles it up with ease. India are 109/6, needing 46 runs from 23 balls. 

Speared in full and on off. Shedge pushes it to cover.

First run in international cricket. A bit of air given, outside off. Shedge drills it to long off for a single.

Fired in, at the base of the off stump, not allowing the batter to get under it. Tilak jams it out through mid-wicket. They cross.

OUT! CAUGHT! Another bites the dust. No fireworks from Suryansh Shedge on debut. Two wickets in the over for Matt Hollard. Ireland can see the finishing line. Hollard continues with the back of the length stuff and does not offer much pace, on off. Shedge has a heave across the line but does not get hold of it. It goes only as far as deep mid-wicket, where Tim Tector snaffles it around his chest. India are 8 down now, needing 34 runs from 13 balls.

A big swing and a miss! Going away, on a good length. Arshdeep swings for the hills but fails to connect.

On a hard length, on off. Rana opens the bat face and steers it to short third, where the fielder gets his body behind the ball to make the stop. Just a single.

On the off stump, on a back of a length. Arshdeep backs away and swings it down to long on for one.

FOUR! Powered away. A bit fuller and Moondra offers width. Harshit hangs back, extends his hands and slams it past extra cover for a boundary.

SIX! That has gone back a long way. The equation comes down to 22 needed off 8. Moondra bangs it into the wicket, but the height does not trouble the batter. It comes just above the waist, around off. Rana presses back and flat bats it over long on for an 89-metre hit.

A bye sneaked in. Rolls his fingers over the ball, on a back of a length, on middle. Rana looks to turn it away on the leg side but is beaten on the inside edge. The ball bounces in front of the keeper, Lorcan Tucker, who gets his body behind the ball. It deflects away to his left and the batters cross over.

Surprisingly, they have taken the single on the last ball. Moondra spots Arshdeep backing away and he bowls it outside the hitting arc. Singh bunts it wide of extra cover for one.

Wide! Fires in a wide yorker but he flirts with the tramline. Singh flashes but fails to connect. The ball parries away down the strip off the keeper's gloves. Arshdeep wants to sneak in a run but he is sent back.

NO BALL! Oh, dear! Harry Tector gets it all wrong. Tector tries to fire it across the right-hander from around the wicket but ends up serving a chest-high full toss. Rana does well to drag it away wide of deep mid-wicket and comes back for the second run. Free Hit coming up.

FOUR! Not where Rana intended it to go, but he won't mind one bit. Tector gets the execution right in terms of the yorker, around off. Rana hangs deep and swings hard at it. The ball takes the inside edge and goes through the legs of the keeper. The short third fielder gives chase but in vain. 11 needed off 4.

Very full, almost in the blockhole, on off. Rana powers the drive to long on and takes a single. 10 required off 3.

Wide! Pushed down leg, on a length. Arshdeep misses out on the tickle. Lorcan Tucker moves to his right to gather the ball before whipping the bails off. Nothing more than a polite enquiry, but the umpires want to be sure.  The third umpire is called into action. The replays find Arshdeep to be safe with his back leg grounded inside the crease at the time the bails came off.

OUT! CAUGHT! The Tector brothers combine to land the final nail in the coffin. Harshit Rana will be mighty disappointed having missed out on putting this away. Tector goes searching for the yorker but ends up serving a full toss, across off. Rana swings to go down the ground but does not get hold of it. Holes out to long on, where Tim Tector makes no mistake. 8 needed off the final ball, and all Harry Tector needs to do is bowl a legal ball now.

SIX! Prince Yadav clears the ropes, but it will not matter. The celebrations start for Ireland as they have taken down the world champions twice in 3 days. Ireland inflict a 2-0 clean sweep over India. Nearly a yorker by Harry, on middle. Prince collapses his back knee and gets under the ball. Thumps it back over the bowler's head for a flat six.
