The third umpire is called into action once again and technology confirms that Rutherford's head height is 1.87 meters, whereas the ball passed at a height of 1.80 meters. No wide!

WIDE! No chance of a review this time. Full and well wide of the off stump line, Rutherford extends his arms but can't reach it.

The third umpire confirms that Rutherford's waist height is 1 meter, and the ball was at 0.97 meters, close but not close enough.
